Some duties include:

- Performs and documents patient assessments (height, weight, blood pressure, reason for visit, etc.) adapting basic procedures to patient medical needs.

Mental Health Provider

The Mental Health Provider is responsible for:

1. Working with patients' families to provide needs assessments, including: gathering and assessing information regarding the client's needs, mental status, support systems, and available community and governmental resources.

2. Providing goal-oriented short-term counseling to meet specific needs and to explore available options. This may include working with independence issues, identity crises, body image, etc.

3. Conducting surveys and studies relating to psychosocial status and patterns of population groups as directed.

4. Maintaining professional competence through appropriate learning experiences. Acquires 20 contact hours of continuing education per year, which include BLS.

Qualifications:

1. Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling
2. Nationally Certified for Applicable Degree
3. Licensed in the State of Louisiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor or such licensed professional.
4. Current CPR certification

PRN LPN

MCMC is looking for an LPN available to work flexible hours Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm and/or Saturday 8am - 3pm. Very competitive PRN pay.

Receptionist (Bastrop)

MCMC seeks a full-time receptionist, motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task, team player with good customer service skills. Prior medical office experience preferred.

Some duties include:

- Greeting patients in a professional manner
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Answering phone calls and transferring calls accordingly
- Collecting and posting patient co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance
- Completing and recording daily deposits accurately
- Data entry using MCMC’s practice management system

Qualifications:

High school diploma. Basic computer skills and good typing skills. Prior medical office experience and billing/insurance experience preferred.

Quality Improvement (QI) Nurse / Patient Centered Medical Home - RN

Responsible for assessing and monitoring clinical services to patients to ensure care and services rendered are effective, efficient and comply with MCMC established policies and procedures.

Some duties include:

1. Conducting QI audits in accordance with the Performance Measures Plan.
2. Conducting daily chart audits to ensure compliance with MCMC’s clinical policies.
3. Monitoring the development of new clinical initiatives, programs and funding.
4. Developing and maintaining a publication clearinghouse.
5. Maintaining NCQA PCMH recognition for all providers.
6. Providing leadership in policy development on the state and national levels.
7. Distributing technical and program information obtained at conferences, meetings, etc.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited RN program.
2. Minimum 5 years experience as an RN or one year working in clinical QI program.
3. Current and valid RN.
4. Must posses current CPR certification.

SBHC Mental Health Provider

MCMC is looking for a full-time Mental Health Provider to coordinate all psychosocial School-Based Health Center services at Bastrop High School. The SBHC Mental Health Provider is responsible for implementing age appropriate educational programs, assessing problems and determining appropriate methods of treatment. The provider also implements interventions methodologies, and functions in such areas as individual and group counseling, protective services and family consultations.

Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
2. Nationally Certified Counselor
3. Licensed in the State of Louisiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or other such licensed professional to provide counseling services
4. Current CPR certification

SBHC Coordinator

Some duties include:

- monitors SBHC operations for accountability, productivity, and compliance.
- ensures SBHC staff follow established policies, procedures and processes.
- administers SBHC training on clinical and practice management system.
- prepares Quarterly Reports to the Office of Public Health.
- prepares documents for Louisiana Performance Effectiveness Review Tool. 
- serves as liaison with SBHC and school administration/personnel.
- coordinates mobile dental program to ensure operational efficiency.
- monitors SBHC facilities and equipment needs.
- markets SBHC at school events, open houses and meetings.
- participates in state meetings related to SBHC functions and grant reports.

Hours:

Full-time 12-month position.
Normal hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. but may vary.
Spends equal time at each clinic site (RMS, WMHS, BHS, MJHS, Mobile Dental).
Required travel quarterly out of town and sometimes daily to SBHC sites.

Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN or RN license.
Minimum one-year administrative/supervisory experience.
Background in clinical services and/or public health administration.
