Current Positions:

Office Nurse (Mer Rouge)

Some duties and responsibilities include:

- Performs and documents patient assessments (height, weight, blood pressure, reason for visit, patient complaints, etc.).

- Prepares patients and rooms for physicals, sick visits and monitors patient flow.

- Triages, draws blood, gives injections, assists with EKG, OB/GYN exams.

- Administers oral and/or IM medications as ordered by the provider.

- Provides patient education.

- Maintains strict confidentiality. 

Must be computer literate. EHR experience preferred.
Certificate or Associates Degree of Licensed Practical Nursing
Current LPN license
Current CPR certification

Mental Health Provider

The Mental Health Provider is responsible for:

1. Working with patients' families to provide needs assessments, including: gathering and assessing information regarding the client's needs, mental status, support systems, and available community and governmental resources.

2. Providing goal-oriented short-term counseling to meet specific needs and to explore available options. This may include working with independence issues, identity crises, body image, etc.

3. Conducting surveys and studies relating to psychosocial status and patterns of population groups as directed.

4. Maintaining professional competence through appropriate learning experiences. Acquires 20 contact hours of continuing education per year, which include BLS.


1. Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling
2. Nationally Certified for Applicable Degree
3. Licensed in the State of Louisiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor or such licensed professional.
4. Current CPR certification

MCMC is looking for an LPN available to work flexible hours Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm and/or Saturday 8am - 3pm. Very competitive PRN pay. 

Some duties and responsibilities include:

- performs and documents patient assessments using EHR (height, weight, blood pressure, reason for visit, etc.) adapting basic procedures to patient medical needs.

- triages, draws blood, assists with EKGs, OB/GYN exams. Prepares patients and rooms for physicals, sick visits and monitors patient flow.

- administers oral and/or IM medications as ordered by provider.

- assists providers with procedures as part of the clinical team. Performs selected nursing and administrative duties. Maintains strict confidentiality.

Qualifications: Certificate or Associates Degree of Licensed Practical Nursing.
Current LPN license.

MCMC seeks a Full-Time receptionist, motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task, team player with good customer service skills. Prior medical office experience preferred.

Receptionist duties include:

  • Greeting patients in a professional manner.
  • Scheduling patient appointments.
  • Handling patient queries.
  • Answering phone calls and transferring calls accordingly.
  • Receiving and sorting faxes.
  • Scanning and indexing medical records.
  • Collecting and posting patient co-pays/deductibles/coinsurance.
  • Completing and recording daily deposits.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry using practice management system.


High school diploma. Basic computer skills. Prior medical office and billing/insurance experience preferred. May require some evenings and weekends.
